Alternatively, you can take the Incheon airport transit train. This is faster, taking about 7 minutes to travel between the two terminals. You can catch the train from the B1 floor at either terminal. Note that this requires a separate ticket, tokens, or a T-Money transit card. While it is quicker, it does cost a small fare, unlike the free shuttle bus.

Airside Transfers: Staying Within the Transit Zone

If you have a connecting flight on the same ticket and have not gone through customs or immigration, you do not need to exit the secure area. You can transfer between terminals behind security by following the purple Transfer signs.
